What is the Benefit of Registering as an Online Observer?

• Registration for online observers is FREE.
  
• MyGA is included with your registration.  A MyGA account provides online observers with access to many of the same resources available to commissioners and other official participants.

Committee and plenary meetings will be livestreamed here on the GA226 website. Registration is not required if you are only interested in viewing the livestream.

Registration Fee: $65
Registration Deadlines: 

• June 7, 2024 – for registrants interested in booking a hotel in the courtesy block.
• June 14, 2024 – for advance registration & ticket sales.

Dates

In-person observers may check in for GA226 beginning on June 29 to obtain pre-ordered event tickets and badges to access plenary meetings in Salt Lake City.

Committee meetings June 25-27 are online only and will be livestreamed here on the GA226 website. More information will be available on the homepage in June.

Event Registration

Worship at Local Congregations: Advance in-person registrants will have the option to sign up to join a local congregation for worship on June 30. Availability is on a first-come, first-served basis.

Ticketed Events: Tickets for seminary lunches and other special events may be purchased in advance during registration. There will be no on-site ticket sales.  

Hotel Information

During registration, you will have the option to make a reservation at the Holiday Inn Express or Towne Place Suites at a special rate.  You will access this option by selecting “Salt Lake City Hotel Links” at the bottom of the activities page of the registration process.

On-site Registration in Salt Lake City

On-site registration will be available for in-person observers who have other lodging arrangements and do not need to purchase event tickets. There will be no on-site ticket sales.  

On-site Registration Fees:  $10 for one day; $30 for three or more days.

Observers at Plenary Meetings

During plenary meetings, a section of seating will be available for observers to watch in the room. If an abundance of Presbyterians come to observe the assembly, seating in the plenary hall will be available on a first-come, first-seated basis. Those not in the hall will have the option of watching livestream monitors in a viewing gallery.
