GA226 participants will receive a special link for registration from email address garegistrar@pcusa.org.

Details will include:

• Your committee assignment, along with information about the committee’s work, leadership, etc.
• Your GA registration link, to request lodging in one of the GA hotels, provide additional information (such as special dietary requirements) that will help us plan for your presence, and purchase tickets for optional luncheons and other sponsored meals.

A separate email around the same time will include information and link for booking travel so the fares are charged to the GA budget.

Held in Louisville, leader briefing will equip committee leaders selected by the GA225 Co-Moderators for the upcoming assembly.

Committee leadership will schedule a 2-hour Introductory Gathering during this timeframe. You will be notified of the meeting details in early April. Attendance is encouraged, but not required.

Optional technology training for participants seeking more guidance will take place during this timeframe.  Updates will be communicated to participants via MyGA.  

Registration deadline – plan to have completed your registration/lodging request and finalized travel arrangements no later than this date (and preferably earlier).

The nominations slate from the General Assembly Nominations Committee (GANC) will be submitted with names and demographic information on all nominations to elected committees and boards of the General Assembly.

Town Halls offered to the whole of the church around topics with multiple items of business facing the assembly. Special Committees and Standing Committees of the General Assembly may also host webinars on their reports.

Committee leadership will schedule a 2nd 2-hour Introductory Gathering during this timeframe. You will be notified of the meeting details in early April. Attendance is encouraged, but not required.

General Assembly committees will meet online to discern recommendations on the items of business they have been assigned. All committee activity will take place online with Zoom access for participants and livestreaming available for others at the GA226 website.

Participants traveling to Salt Lake City will make their journeys. Committee leadership teams will work on submitting reports for the plenary sessions.

Plenary sessions of the assembly will take place in Salt Lake City, Utah at the Salt Palace Convention Center.
