The Presbyterian Historical Society is the national archives of the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A). We’re the oldest denominational archives in the country and exist to collect, preserve, and share the story of the American Presbyterian and Reformed experience with Presbyterians, the scholarly community, and the general public. Our holdings include more than 250,000 titles reflecting the history of Presbyterians in America and over 30,000 cubic feet of official records and personal papers. These include records of congregations, presbyteries, synods, and General Assembly agencies. We invite you to use the PHS collections, online history resources, and services to explore the history of the PC(USA), find information about your church or mid council, and preserve your congregation’s records of permanent value at no cost in our secure, climate-controlled archives.
